Moroccan Tadelakt
Black-soap lime · waterproof · antimicrobial
Tadelakt is the traditional lime plaster of Marrakesh: worked to a smooth face, then burnished and treated with black olive soaps that react with the lime to form a genuinely waterproof membrane.
The result is a seamless, satin-sheen surface that's naturally antimicrobial and mould-resistant — which is exactly why it has been used in hammams and bathrooms for centuries.

A waterproof membrane, not a coating
The black-soap treatment isn't a surface sealer sitting on top — it reacts with the lime to make the plaster itself water-repellent, so wet rooms and showers can be finished without a single tile joint.
Healthy by nature
Lime is naturally antimicrobial and mould-resistant, so Tadelakt suits humid rooms where other finishes struggle. Its burnished satin sheen softens light beautifully.
Hand-burnished
Every Tadelakt surface is compacted and polished by hand — a slow craft that gives the finish its depth and its water resistance in one process.
