Seamless Microcement Kitchen-Diner Floor

This large open-plan kitchen-diner called for a single, unbroken floor to hold the space together — no tile grid to interrupt the run from the island to the dining table.
The floor was laid in microcement, poured and trowelled by hand in thin layers and sealed for daily kitchen use. Underfloor-heating compatible, it stays warm underfoot across the whole room.
The result is a soft, continuous surface with the calm of poured stone, matched in colour to the scheme of the room around it.
